Farmer’s Delight add-ons are separate mods that are made to go with Farmer’s Delight, and most of them will build on the
Cooking Pot, the
Cutting Board and the Knives from the mod, adding new crops, dishes, machines and storage. There’s well over a hundred of them, so this page sorts the ones that are still being updated into groups, with a page for each of the bigger ones.
Most of them only add recipes on top of the base mod, which means you’re able to drop one into a world you’ve already started and carry on playing. Each add-on page covers what it adds, where you’ll get the ingredients and which Minecraft versions it’s made for, as they don’t all follow Farmer’s Delight onto the same versions.
New Foods and Cuisines
Ocean’s Delight is the most downloaded add-on right now, with about 54,000 downloads a day, and most of what it adds is food made from the mobs you’ll find in the ocean. Every
Guardian you kill will drop a whole Guardian, which you’re able to cook into
Guardian Soup, a feast you serve out with
Bowls.

Squid will drop
Tentacles when they’re killed with a Knife, and these are used to make a
Tentacle on a Stick or
Squid Rings. A
Pufferfish can go on the
Cutting Board as well, which will give you
Fugu Slices, and those are used for the
Fugu Roll.
Crabber’s Delight goes further with the sea, as it adds a
Crab Trap that you’ll want to sink underwater with some bait inside. Depending on the bait, the trap will pull up
Crabs,
Clams,
Shrimp and some junk as well. The mod also adds Crabs to beaches, Palm Trees with falling
Coconuts and a
Pearl Necklace that’s used for breathing underwater.
Cultural Delights adds four new crops to grow, which are
Corn,
Cucumbers,
Eggplants and
Avocados, with the Avocados coming from Avocado Trees. The other three plants each have a wild version you’ll find in Plains, Swamps or Jungles, the same way Farmer’s Delight’s own Wild Crops work, and they’re used for tacos, burritos, sushi rolls and an
Eggplant Parmesan feast.
Delightful is more of a mix of small additions, like
Cantaloupes on beaches,
Salmonberries in forests and
Acorns that drop from
Oak Leaves. There’s also
Green Tea Leaves, which you’re able to turn into
Matcha. A lot of its content only turns on when another mod is installed as well, so the Delightful page shows what you’ll always get, and what needs a second mod installed.
There’s a few more food add-ons that don’t have a page of their own here yet, though most of them are still being updated, and they’ll all work with the same
Cooking Pot and Cutting Board. The only one that’s stopped is Farmer’s Respite, the tea add-on, which hasn’t had a new file since 2024 and stops at Minecraft 1.20.1.
| Add-on | What It Adds | Still Updated |
|---|---|---|
| Brewin’ And Chewin’ | Kegs for fermenting drinks, and cheese | Yes |
| Miner’s Delight | Food built around mining and caves | Yes |
| Expanded Delight, Veggies Delight, Fruits Delight, More Delight, Rustic Delight, Corn Delight | New crops, fruit or meals in the same style | Yes |
| Farmer’s Respite | Tea | No, last file 2024 (1.20.1) |
Brewin’ And Chewin’ is the biggest of these, as its kegs are a whole system of their own. The others mostly add more crops and meals, which is fine if you’d like a bigger menu to cook from, and most of them can be added to a world you’ve already started.
Nether, End and Dungeon Add-ons
My Nether’s Delight is the Nether add-on that’s still being updated, and you’ll find its
Bullet Peppers growing on Powdery Cane in Crimson Forests. It also has
Resurgent Soil, which is the Nether version of
Rich Soil, and a
Blazier that cooks using
Blaze Rods. The original Nether’s Delight had its last update in 2023 and only goes up to 1.20.1, so the two are separate mods.
There’s two add-ons for the End with almost the same name, and the End’s Delight vs Ender’s Delight page puts the two of them side by side. End’s Delight is built around the Ender Dragon, with
Dragon Teeth and
Dragon Legs to cook, whereas Ender’s Delight adds plants from the End, like
Amberveils and
Void Pepper, which you’ll farm on
End Stone.
Dungeons Delight turns monsters into food, and once it’s installed, any
Monster Spawner you break will drop
Stained Scrap. That scrap is what you’ll need to build the
Monster Pot, which only heats up when it’s on a spawner or on one of the mod’s own heat sources. There’s a crop called the
Rotbulb as well, and when you harvest it a Monster Yam will spawn.
Automation
If you’re playing with Create, Create Slice & Dice is the add-on you’ll want, as it adds a
Slicer that holds a Knife, and it’s able to do every recipe from the
Cutting Board using rotational power. It also adds a
Sprinkler, which is used for watering farms, and it’s able to spray Liquid Fertilizer made from
Organic Compost, which works like
Bone Meal on your crops.
Autochef’s Delight is the other add-on that’s often used with it, as it lets the
Cooking Pot take more than one of the same ingredient from a single stacked slot, and it makes the pot quicker at finding a matching recipe. It doesn’t add any items though, so instead of a page of its own it’s covered in a section on the Create Slice & Dice page.
Storage, Display and Villagers
If you’d like more storage in your kitchen, Storage Delight adds extra blocks to go with the
Cabinets from Farmer’s Delight, and Display Delight lets you place the food as 3D blocks, which is just for decoration. There’s also Chef’s Delight, which adds two new Villager professions built around Farmer’s Delight, and Farmer’s Knives, which adds Knives made out of materials from other mods.
Compat Add-ons
The last group is made to link Farmer’s Delight with another mod you already have, so they’re only really worth installing alongside that mod. Most of them add dishes that are cooked from the other mod’s mobs, fish or crops, using the same
Cooking Pot and
Cutting Board to make them.
| Add-on | Made For |
|---|---|
| Alex’s Delight | Alex’s Mobs (cooks its animals) |
| Alex’s Mobs Delight | Alex’s Mobs (newer, 1.20.1 Forge) |
| Twilight’s Flavors and Delight | The Twilight Forest |
| Undergarden Delight | The Undergarden |
| Aquaculture Delight | Aquaculture (recipes for its fish) |
| Abnormals Delight | The Abnormals mods, like Atmospheric and Autumnity |
| Ars Nouveau’s Flavors and Delight | Ars Nouveau |
| Cataclysm Delight | L_Ender’s Cataclysm |
| Engineers Delight | Immersive Engineering |
The one most players will know is Alex’s Delight, which cooks the animals from Alex’s Mobs, and there’s a newer Alex’s Mobs Delight for 1.20.1 Forge as well. If you don’t have the mod an add-on is made for, it’s not worth installing, as most of its recipes will need that mod’s items.
Versions
Farmer’s Delight itself is made for Forge on 1.20.1 and NeoForge on 1.21.1, but its add-ons don’t always keep up with it. The table shows which Minecraft versions and loaders each one has files for on CurseForge, so you’re able to check them against your modpack before installing anything.
| Add-on | Minecraft Versions | Loaders |
|---|---|---|
| Ocean’s Delight | 1.18.2 to 1.21.1 | Forge, NeoForge, Fabric |
| Create Slice & Dice | 1.18.2 to 1.21.1 | Forge, NeoForge, Fabric |
| Autochef’s Delight | 1.20.1, 1.21.1 | Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, Quilt |
| My Nether’s Delight | 1.19.2 to 1.21.1 | Forge, NeoForge |
| Nether’s Delight | 1.16.3 to 1.20.1 | Forge |
| End’s Delight | 1.16.5 to 1.21.1 | Forge, NeoForge, Fabric |
| Ender’s Delight | 1.18.2 to 1.21.1 | Forge, NeoForge, Fabric |
| Delightful | 1.18.2 to 1.20.1 | Forge, NeoForge |
| Cultural Delights | 1.16.5 to 1.21.1 | Forge, NeoForge, Fabric |
| Dungeons Delight | 1.20.1, 1.21.1 | Forge, NeoForge |
| Crabber’s Delight | 1.18.2 to 1.21.1 | Forge, NeoForge |
| Alex’s Delight | 1.16.5 to 1.21.1 | Forge, NeoForge |
| Chef’s Delight | 1.18.2 to 1.21.1 | Forge, NeoForge |
| Brewin’ And Chewin’ | 1.18.2 to 1.21.1 | Forge, NeoForge, Fabric |
If you’re playing on a newer version, Delightful is the one to watch out for, as it’s still being updated but doesn’t have a 1.21.1 file at all. The old Nether’s Delight stops at 1.20.1 as well, which is why My Nether’s Delight is the one to use for the Nether on 1.21.1.
FAQ
It depends on what’s in your modpack, but going by downloads, Ocean’s Delight is the most popular one at about 54,000 a day. Create Slice & Dice comes next with about 39,000, and it’s the one to pick if you’re already playing with Create. Alex’s Delight and Nether’s Delight are close behind with 36,000 and 33,000, though Nether’s Delight hasn’t been updated since 2023.
They’re two separate add-ons made by different authors, even though the names are almost the same, and both of them add End food to Farmer’s Delight. End’s Delight is built around the Ender Dragon and Shulkers, whereas Ender’s Delight is more about farming End plants, like
Amberveils, and it has its own
Endstone Stove as well.
Nether’s Delight hasn’t been updated since 2023, and it stops at Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge. If you’re playing on 1.21.1, you’ll want to use My Nether’s Delight instead, which is a different add-on that’s still being updated, with its own Nether crops and food made from Hoglins and Striders.
Farmer’s Delight itself is only made for Forge and NeoForge, so any Fabric add-on will need a Fabric port of the base mod, like Farmer’s Delight Refabricated, to work alongside it. A lot of the add-ons do have Fabric files, like Ocean’s Delight, but some of them don’t have a Fabric version at all, like Dungeons Delight, so it’s worth checking the version table first.
