The
Bottle of Maple Syrup is a Relic from Reliquified Twilight Forest that's worn in a Charm slot, and it works with the Maze Wafers from Twilight Forest. Eating one while it's on will boost all of your healing for a few seconds, and sometimes the wafer won't get used up at all.

Obtaining
You'll find the
Bottle of Maple Syrup in Chests inside the Minotaur Labyrinth and the Knight Stronghold on 1.21.1, where you'll also be fighting the Minoshroom and the Knight Phantoms. Around a third of those Chests will have a Relic inside, and it's picked from the five that each of them can roll.
| Where | Chance | Roughly |
|---|---|---|
| Minotaur Labyrinth Chest | 6.6% | 1 in 15 |
| Knight Stronghold Chest | 6.6% | 1 in 15 |
These are the chances with only Relics and Reliquified Twilight Forest installed. Any other add-on that has Relics of its own might join the same pick if its loot rules match, which is going to lower them a little.
Those Chests are also where Maze Wafers come from, as there isn't a recipe for them, and the Aurora Palace's Chests hold them too, although they never give a Relic. Reliquified Twilight Forest is made for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge with the release version of Relics, and it won't work with the 0.12 beta.
Relic Quality & Rerolling
Each stat on a new Relic is rolled between a lowest and a highest value, which is shown by the stars under its portrait. An ability can be rerolled for 50 experience points, but the new roll might turn out worse than the one you had.
Whenever a reroll comes out worse, you'll gain some Luck, which makes better rolls more likely from then on. Every point of Luck adds 5 experience points to the cost of a reroll though, and you're able to hold Shift to keep rerolling until it's perfect.
Usage
Each Maze Wafer that you eat with the
Bottle of Maple Syrup on adds some time to a timer, and every bit of healing that you get while it's running is boosted. Eating more wafers adds more time on top, so you're able to keep it going through a long fight by eating one every so often.
The boost isn't only for the Regeneration effect, as it works on natural healing from a full hunger bar, Potions of Healing and Golden Apples too. It doesn't heal you by itself though, so it's best used when something else is already healing you.
There's also a chance that the wafer stays in your hand after you've eaten it, which means you'll get the food and the timer without losing one. Other foods don't do anything, so you'll want to keep a stack of Maze Wafers in your hotbar while it's on.
Abilities
There's only one ability on the
Bottle of Maple Syrup, called Sugar Rush, which goes up to level 10. The bottle reaches level 10 as well, which gives you exactly enough Upgrade Points to max it out.

| Stat | Starting Roll | At Ability Level 10 | Your Relic |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chance to Keep the Wafer | 10 to 20% | 65 to 75% | |
| Healing Bonus | 30 to 50% | 180 to 200% | |
| Time per Wafer | 7 to 10 seconds | 17 to 20 seconds |
A new bottle boosts healing by 30 to 50% for 7 to 10 seconds a wafer, whereas a perfect roll at level 10 gives 200% for 20 seconds. The chance to keep the wafer climbs from 10 to 20% up to 75%, which makes a stack of wafers last a lot longer.
Upgrading an ability will take Upgrade Points, along with some of your own experience points, which starts at 50 and goes up by 50 each time. Resetting one costs 250 experience points for each level that it had, and you'll be given all of its points back.
Experience Sources
The
Bottle of Maple Syrup gains 1 Relic experience for every Maze Wafer that you eat on 1.21.1, including the ones that it lets you keep. That makes a wafer that wasn't used up a free bit of experience, so it'll level quickly once its chance to keep them is high.
A quarter of the experience that a Relic earns will also be given to one other Relic that you're carrying, as long as it isn't at its maximum level. A Relic that's been maxed out won't earn any more experience, which means it has nothing to pass on.
Leveling
The first Relic level costs 100 Relic experience, and each one after that will cost 100 more than the last. Reaching level 10 takes 5,500 in total, so you'll want a good supply of Maze Wafers before it's maxed out.
| Relic Level | Unlocks | Relic Experience | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | — | 100 | 100 |
| 2 | — | 200 | 300 |
| 3 | — | 300 | 600 |
| 4 | — | 400 | 1,000 |
| 5 | — | 500 | 1,500 |
| 6 | — | 600 | 2,100 |
| 7 | — | 700 | 2,800 |
| 8 | — | 800 | 3,600 |
| 9 | — | 900 | 4,500 |
| 10 | Maximum Level | 1,000 | 5,500 |
Config
Before a single Relic can be changed, you'll need to open the Relics config file and set enabledExtendedConfigs to true. After a restart, a separate file will be created for every Relic, along with a loot file that has the chance for a Chest to hold one.

Steel Cape turns up in the Knight Stronghold alongside it.
Parasite 116 is another Charm that's fed by what you eat, as it turns each slice of cake into rage.
FAQ
It's found in the Chests of two Twilight Forest structures, the Minotaur Labyrinth and the Knight Stronghold, on Minecraft 1.21.1. A Mimic is able to drop one as well if you've got Reliquified Artifacts installed alongside it.
Only the Maze Wafer from Twilight Forest works, even though the tooltip calls it a waffle. Other foods won't start the timer or give the bottle any experience, so it's worth saving your wafers for it.
It doesn't heal anything by itself, as it only multiplies the healing that you're already getting. You'll get the most from it with a full hunger bar, a Regeneration effect or a Potion of Healing while the timer is running.
Each wafer adds its full time on top of whatever is left, so eating a few in a row builds up a longer boost. The bottle also gains 1 experience for each one, even when the wafer wasn't used up.
