Unique Accessories

Unique Accessories is a Curios API-compatible mod that adds 44 wearable accessories to Minecraft, none of which can be crafted. Every item is obtained through exploration, combat, or trading, dropping from structure chests, specific mobs, the Wandering Trader, or randomized Accessory Box loot crates found throughout the world. Each accessory provides a distinct passive ability across three Curios slot types: Charm, Belt, and Feet. Effects range from massive stat boosts like the Sun Stone's daytime combat bonuses to creative mechanics like wall climbing, Spyglass teleportation, and wolf empowerment. With three rarity tiers spanning Uncommon, Rare, and Epic, players can combine up to five accessories at once to build specialized loadouts for combat, stealth, exploration, or high-risk glass cannon strategies that reward skilled play.

Unique Accessories adds 44 wearable accessories to Minecraft, each with a distinct passive ability that changes how players approach combat, exploration, and survival. These accessories are not crafted. Instead, they drop from specific mobs, appear in structure chests, or come from Accessory Box loot crates scattered across the world. Every accessory fits into one of three Curios slots and provides effects ranging from stat boosts and movement abilities to creative mechanics like wall climbing and wolf empowerment.

Getting Started with Unique Accessories

Unique Accessories requires the Curios API mod to function. After installing both mods, open the inventory and press G (the default Curios keybind) or click the ring icon next to the player model to open the Curios equipment panel. This panel provides three slot types: three Charm slots, one Belt slot, and one Feet slot. Accessories go into these slots rather than the normal armor or hotbar.

There are no recipes in this mod. Every accessory is obtained through exploration and combat. The fastest way to get started is to raid Village houses, which have a chance to contain common accessories like the Tool Belt, Survival Belt, Blade Shoes, and Durable Spring. Killing Pillagers and Vindicators can also drop the Black Belt and Tabi early on.

Accessories come in three rarity tiers: Uncommon (green), Rare (blue), and Epic (purple). Uncommon accessories are the most common and provide focused, single-purpose effects. Rare accessories offer stronger or multi-effect bonuses. Epic accessories like the Sun Stone, Moon Stone, Hero Emblem, Burning Soul, Master Ninja's Tabi, and Ender Lens are the most powerful and the hardest to find.

Wandering Trader Deals

The Wandering Trader sells several accessories for 20 to 30 Emeralds each, including the Anklet of Fortune, Blade Shoes, Survival Belt, Tool Belt, and Durable Spring. Rare trades include the Championship Belt and Rocket Shoes for 40 to 60 Emeralds, and the Accessory Box for 64 Emeralds. The Master Ninja's Tabi can be purchased for 64 Emeralds plus one Tabi.

Accessory Slots Explained

Unique Accessories adds three Curios slot types to the player's inventory. Each slot type accepts specific accessories, so choosing which accessories to equip requires balancing different playstyles and situations.

Charm Slots (3 Available)

Charm slots hold the majority of accessories in the mod, with 31 different options. With three Charm slots available, players can combine multiple passive effects at once. Charms cover everything from combat bonuses like the Still Beating Heart and Devil's Eyeball to utility effects like the Ancient Chisel's mining speed boost and the Ender Lens teleportation ability.

Belt Slot (1 Available)

The single Belt slot accepts seven accessories: Championship Belt, Tool Belt, Black Belt, Life Jacket Belt, Survival Belt, Silver Cat Tail, and Waist Warmer. Belt accessories tend to focus on mobility, utility, and defensive abilities. The Championship Belt stands out as the premier unarmed combat option, while the Tool Belt extends block placement reach by 2 meters.

Feet Slot (1 Available)

The Feet slot accepts six accessories: Master Ninja's Tabi, Tabi, Rocket Shoes, Blade Shoes, Durable Spring, and Anklet of Fortune. Feet accessories focus on movement and traversal. The Rocket Shoes provide aerial boosting, the Tabi enables quick-step dashing, and the Durable Spring increases jump height while reducing fall damage.

Best Accessories in Unique Accessories

With 44 accessories to choose from, some stand out as particularly powerful. The following are the top picks for different playstyles, ranked by the strength and versatility of their effects.

Best for Combat: Sun Stone / Moon Stone

The Sun Stone and Moon Stone are mirror-image Epic accessories that provide massive stat boosts during the day or night respectively. Each grants Attack Damage +4, Arrow Damage +20%, Attack Speed +1, Armor +4, Critical Chance +20%, Mining Speed +25%, and heals 1 HP every 6 seconds. Equipping one transforms combat effectiveness during its active time period. Both can be found in Ancient City chests (Sun Stone, 3% chance) and End City chests (Moon Stone, 3% chance).

Best for Survival: Hero Emblem

The Hero Emblem is an Epic accessory that drops exclusively from the Ender Dragon with a 100% chance. It provides Armor +4, Attack Damage +2, and Arrow Damage +10% at full health. When HP drops to 10 or below, it boosts Attack Damage to +4, Arrow Damage to +20%, and adds Movement Speed +20%. At exactly 1 HP, it reaches maximum power with Attack Damage +6, Arrow Damage +30%, Dodge Chance +20%, Critical Chance +20%, and neutralizes all negative effects.

Best for Mobility: Master Ninja's Tabi

The Master Ninja's Tabi is an Epic Feet accessory that grants 15% Movement Speed and a long-distance Quick-step ability activated by double-tapping a movement key. The Quick-step covers significantly more ground than the regular Tabi's version and requires a food level of 7 or higher to activate. It can be purchased from the Wandering Trader for 64 Emeralds plus one Tabi, or found in the Accessory Box's Epic pool (2% chance to roll Epic, then 1-in-5 within the pool).

Best for Stealth: Ninjutsu Manual

The Ninjutsu Manual boosts sneaking movement speed by 200% and reduces nearby mob detection range by 60% while sneaking. It also negates block hazards like Cobwebs, Sweet Berries, Cacti, Pressure Plates, and Tripwires while crouched. This Uncommon Charm is available from the Wandering Trader's rare trades for 20 to 30 Emeralds or from the Accessory Box's Uncommon pool.

Best Early-Game Starter Accessories

Players just starting a world should target Village house chests first, since they contain several Uncommon accessories with no combat required. The Durable Spring (Feet) is one of the best early finds, granting extra jump height, faster movement, and fall damage immunity under 7 blocks. The Tool Belt (Belt) extends block placement range and speeds up building. The Anklet of Fortune (Feet) provides a 50% chance to resist negative effects, which is strong against Witches and Cave Spiders. For a Charm slot, the All-Purpose Seasoning adds healing and extra hunger restoration to every food item eaten, smoothing out early survival. All four of these drop from village house chests at 3% to 8% rates depending on village type.

Best Accessories for Boss Fights

For the Wither fight, the Burning Soul is the standout pick since it prevents death by consuming experience levels, acting as a safety net against the Wither's heavy burst damage. Pair it with the Sun Stone for daytime stat boosts (Attack Damage +4, Armor +4) and the Devil's Eyeball for 20% Critical Chance and 20% Critical Damage. The Durable Spring in the Feet slot helps dodge Wither skulls with extra jump height. For the Ender Dragon, the Magick Quiver's 30% Arrow Damage and 20% Arrow Velocity bonuses help land shots on a fast-moving target. After defeating the Dragon, the guaranteed Hero Emblem drop becomes the best boss-fight accessory for any future challenges.

How to Find Accessories

Accessories come from three main sources: structure chests, mob drops, and the Wandering Trader. Each accessory has a fixed source and drop chance, so knowing where to look saves time. The Accessory Box serves as a universal source that can contain any accessory weighted by rarity.

Structure Chest Loot

Many accessories appear exclusively in specific structure chests. Ancient City chests contain the Sun Stone (3% chance), Buried Treasure has the highest Accessory Box drop rate at 20%, and Jungle Temples hold the Shiny Stone (20% chance). Desert Pyramids can contain the Ancient Chisel (15% chance) and Starved Wolf Skull (4% chance). Shipwreck Treasure chests hold the Life Jacket Belt (15% chance).

Village houses spread several common accessories across all village types. The Tool Belt appears in Village Toolsmith chests (12% chance) and all village houses (3% chance). Similar patterns apply to the Survival Belt, Blade Shoes, Waist Warmer, Anklet of Fortune, Durable Spring, Large Paddle, and Small Propulsion Device. Each accessory has one village type with an elevated 8% drop rate and 1% to 3% in others.

Mob Drops

Several accessories drop from specific mobs when killed. The Hero Emblem is guaranteed from the Ender Dragon. The Burning Soul drops from the Warden at a 15% rate. Pillagers and Vindicators can drop the Black Belt (1% chance each) and Tabi (0.2% chance each). Witches drop the Cursed Doll Head (10% chance) and Bloody Knife (1% chance). Slimes drop the Strong Sticky Slime Ball (0.2% chance), Piglin Brutes drop the Still Beating Heart (2% chance), and Hoglins drop the Supreme Meat (1% chance).

The Accessory Box

The Accessory Box is a loot crate that contains a random accessory when right-clicked. It rolls from three rarity pools: Uncommon (80% chance, 26 accessories), Rare (18% chance, 13 accessories), and Epic (2% chance, 5 accessories). Accessory Boxes appear in many structure chests with chances ranging from 1% in village houses up to 20% in Buried Treasure. The Wandering Trader also sells them for 64 Emeralds.

All Charm Accessories

Charm accessories make up the largest category with 31 options. Players can equip up to three Charms at once, making slot combinations a key strategic choice. Below is every Charm accessory organized by rarity, from hardest to easiest to obtain. Early-game players should focus on the Uncommon Charms at the bottom, many of which come from Village chests and mob drops, before working toward Rare and Epic items from structures like the Nether Fortress, Ancient City, and End City.

The Withered Heart sets maximum HP to 1. This extreme risk-reward accessory pairs with the Hero Emblem's 1-HP bonuses for maximum damage output. Found in Nether Fortress bridge chests (15% chance).

All Belt Accessories

Belt accessories occupy the single Belt Curios slot and focus on defensive utility, mobility, and niche survival tools.

The Championship Belt is a Rare accessory that grants Unarmed Attack Damage +6 and Unarmed Attack Speed +2. For each empty armor slot, it adds Armor +4, Movement Speed +5%, Dodge Chance +5%, and Knockback Resistance +10%. This rewards an armorless playstyle with stacking bonuses. Feet accessories occupy the single Feet Curios slot and specialize in movement and traversal abilities.

The Master Ninja's Tabi is an Epic upgrade to the Tabi, granting Movement Speed +15% and a long-distance Quick-step dash. Requires food level 7 or higher to activate. Available from the Wandering Trader for 64 Emeralds plus one Tabi.

The Tabi is a Rare accessory that grants Walking Movement Speed +10% and a Quick-step dash triggered by quickly pressing the same movement key (W, A, S, or D) twice in rapid succession. The player must be standing on the ground with at least 7 food bars (out of 10) to activate it. Drops from Pillagers and Vindicators (0.2% chance each).

The Anklet of Fortune provides a 50% chance to negate any negative effect applied to the player. Found in Village house chests.

Accessory Combinations and Builds

With three Charm slots, one Belt slot, and one Feet slot, players can create specialized loadouts. Here are some effective combinations based on the accessory synergies available.

Glass Cannon Build

Equip the Withered Heart to set HP to 1, then add the Hero Emblem for its maximum-power 1-HP bonuses (Attack Damage +6, Arrow Damage +30%, Dodge Chance +20%, Critical Chance +20%, negative effect immunity). Pair with the Devil's Eyeball for another 20% Critical Chance and 20% Critical Damage. Use the Championship Belt in the Belt slot with no armor for additional stacking bonuses. This build outputs extreme damage but requires perfect dodge execution to survive.

Explorer Build

Equip the Sun Stone for daytime stat boosts, the Ancient Chisel for 50% faster mining, and the Ender Lens for long-range Spyglass teleportation. Use the Survival Belt for Step Height and fire healing, and the Durable Spring in the Feet slot for jump height and fall damage reduction. This loadout covers mining, movement, and combat while exploring.

Stealth Build

Equip the Ninjutsu Manual for 200% sneak speed and 60% reduced detection, the Bloody Knife for 30% backstab damage, and the Suspicious Mushroom for damage bonuses from the Cursed Doll Head's negative effects. Use the Black Belt for 15% Dodge Chance, and the Master Ninja's Tabi for fast escapes with long-distance Quick-step.

Tips for Success

Prioritize Village Raids Early

Villages are the easiest early source for accessories. Each village type has one accessory with an 8% elevated chance: Plains for Anklet of Fortune, Desert for All-Purpose Seasoning, Savanna for Blade Shoes, Snowy for Waist Warmer, and Taiga for Survival Belt. Visiting multiple village types quickly builds a starting collection.

Save Accessory Boxes for later in a playthrough rather than opening them immediately. The 80% Uncommon pool means most early opens yield accessories already obtainable from villages. Later, when hunting for specific Rare or Epic items, the 18% Rare and 2% Epic chances provide a way to target otherwise difficult-to-find accessories.

The Wandering Trader is a reliable source for nine common accessories and four rare ones. Keep Emeralds stockpiled for when a Trader appears. The Master Ninja's Tabi trade is particularly valuable since it requires only 64 Emeralds and one Tabi as input for an Epic-tier accessory.

Pair the Cursed Doll Head carefully. Its 48-block radius negative effect aura hits the player too. Combining it with the Suspicious Mushroom turns this drawback into a bonus: the 15% damage increase and 1 HP per 2 seconds healing triggers from the Cursed Doll Head's own debuffs.

The Starved Wolf Skull's Hunger penalty can be managed by keeping food ready to eat. At food level 0, the +6 Attack Damage bonus is substantial. Players who can handle the Hunger effect gain both a healing-on-hit mechanic and one of the highest flat damage boosts in the mod.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Unique Accessories require Curios API?

Yes. Unique Accessories depends on the Curios API to add the Charm, Belt, and Feet equipment slots. Without Curios installed, the accessories cannot be equipped and will have no effect.

Can accessories be crafted?

No. None of the 44 accessories in Unique Accessories have crafting recipes. They can only be obtained through structure chest loot, mob drops, the Wandering Trader, or from opening Accessory Boxes.

How many accessories can be equipped at once?

Players can equip up to five accessories simultaneously: three in the Charm slots, one in the Belt slot, and one in the Feet slot. This allows for significant build customization depending on playstyle.

What is the best way to get Epic accessories?

Each Epic accessory has a specific source: the Hero Emblem is a guaranteed Ender Dragon drop, the Burning Soul drops from the Warden (15% chance), the Sun Stone appears in Ancient City chests (3%), and the Moon Stone appears in End City chests (3%). The Master Ninja's Tabi can be purchased from the Wandering Trader. Accessory Boxes also have a 2% chance of rolling the Epic pool, which contains five of the six Epic-tier items (the Hero Emblem drops only from the Ender Dragon and is not in the box).

Does the Withered Heart actually set HP to 1?

Yes. The Withered Heart sets the player's maximum HP to 1 while equipped. This is designed as a challenge or synergy accessory, working especially well with the Hero Emblem's 1-HP bonuses which provide extreme combat power and negative effect immunity at that health threshold.

Can the Burning Soul prevent death from any damage source?

The Burning Soul consumes 2 experience levels per point of lethal damage to prevent death. As long as the player has sufficient experience levels, it will prevent death from any damage source. Running out of levels means the next lethal hit will not be prevented.
