Relics mod wiki

The Relics mod introduces over 25 new Relics into Minecraft, each of which comes with an ability, or multiple. They’re designed to enhance gameplay, whether allowing you to summon mobs or changing how you travel the world.

Relics spawn in different locations within the game, mostly biome-dependent. While their effects might be minuscule at the start, they can be leveled up over time and have experience spent upgrading them.

They typically start relatively helpful, but as you level them they can become much more powerful while still ensuring the game stays at the difficulty intended. Pressing Left-Alt will allow players to switch between relics.

Please note that this is an Unofficial Wiki, which we will do our best to keep updated when we can.

Artifacts Compat

One of the most prominent mods that Relics provides compatibility for is Artifacts. Artifacts is already similar to Relics, in how it adds items to the world which give different abilities when equipped into a Curios slot.

However, when paired with Relics, it also provides a levelling system, experience sources, constellations, and more, making the Artifacts a lot more immersive and fun to use.

There are just over 40 different Artifacts available, which have been made compatible with Relics. You can read about some of them below. Some Artifacts provide similar bonuses to Relics, while some others are completely unique.

To use this mod, players will require both Artifacts and Rarcompat, which can be obtained from the buttons below.

Twilight Forest Compat

Another mod that has been given support for Relics is the Twilight Forest. However, it instead adds additional items which are dropped by each boss, and are themed around them. This mod is called Reliquified Twilight Forest.

The Twilight Forest is a huge mod adding a new dimension filled with different biomes, structures, mobs, and bosses, all of which have to be beaten in a specific order.

Once beaten, they have a chance of dropping a new Relic, which are themed around them. These include the Scaled Cloak, Lich Crown, Deer Antler, Firefly Queen, and a few others, with there just over 15 in total.

To use this mod, players will require both the Twilight Forest and Reliquified Twilight Forest, which can be obtained from the buttons below.

To use this mod, players will require both L_Ender’s Cataclysm and Reliquified L_Ender’s Cataclysm, which can be obtained from the buttons below.

Iron's Spells Compat

Iron’s Spells ‘n Spellbooks is one of the biggest magic mods for Minecraft, with over a hundred spells across its schools of magic, Spell Books and Scrolls to cast them, and dungeons like the Catacombs and the Citadel to loot.

Reliquified Iron’s Spells ‘n Spellbooks adds 23 Relics themed around that magic, from the Sealed Sword, Rapier and Claymore to the Shadow Claws, the Slicer and the Sinner’s Crown. All of them are found in Chests and Barrels inside Iron’s Spells structures.

More Relics

More Relics is a third-party add-on by blorbilon that adds 29 new Relics, from simple charms like the Axolotl Cream and the Whims of Fate to Cyberware implants that risk Cyberpsychosis, and a few JoJo-inspired relics you can only get by changing one relic into another.

Most of them are found in chests through the usual Relics loot, but some come from their own chests (Buried Treasure, Woodland Mansions, Dungeons and Pillager Outposts), and King Crimson, Made in Heaven, Wonder of U and the Weavers Spool are only made by converting another relic.

More Relics has builds for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge, 1.21.1 NeoForge and a separate one for the Relics beta, so players will need Relics and the More Relics build that matches it, which can be obtained from the buttons below.

Arcane Abilities

Relics: Arcane Abilities is an add-on by mralxart_ that adds five Relics, from the Fate Beacon that carries you home to the Frost Ring, the Shadow Lantern, the Stellar Amulet and the Weightless Boot, along with a Skills Grimoire that turns the Relic experience you earn into skills.

On Minecraft 1.20.1 most of them come from the add-on’s own dungeons, the Maze Manicore deep underground and the Snow Structure in Snowy Plains. The 1.21.1 build has no working dungeons, so there they turn up in ordinary chests in cold biomes, End Cities and Strongholds.

There is no build for the Relics beta, so players will need Relics on 1.20.1 or 1.21.1 together with Arcane Abilities, which can be obtained from the buttons below.
