When you first start exploring Stalwart Dungeons, you’ll have the opportunity to craft Tungsten Armor. This armor becomes available after you encounter the Awful Dungeon and defeat the Awful Ghast. Once crafted and equipped, this armor will offer benefits to help you as you explore the Nether.
Crafting Tungsten Armor
To craft Tungsten Armor, you need two materials: Tungsten Ingots and Blaze Armor Scrap. You can obtain Tungsten Ingots by smelting Tungsten Ore in a Furnace. The only place to find Tungsten Ore is inside the Awful Dungeon.
Multiple ores can be found in the towers of the Awful Dungeon underneath the floor, while Blaze Armor Scrap can be obtained by killing Reinforced Blaze, which also spawns inside the Awful Dungeon. These are the Blaze which has shields wrapped around them.

To craft a full set of Tungsten Armor, including the Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots, you will need 16 Tungsten Ingots and 8 Blaze Armor Scraps. Each Reinforced Blaze will drop one piece of Blaze Armor Scrap. Additionally, you will need extra materials if you intend to craft the Tungsten Shield, tools, or Hammer.
About Tungsten Armor
The Tungsten Armor is primarily beneficial when worn in the Nether, providing additional advantages. It also offers a slightly higher armor rating than Netherite, making it overall more robust.
The primary benefit of wearing a complete set of Tungsten Armor is the immunity it provides to the Wither and Burning debuffs. Equipping the full set will make it much easier for players to fight the Wither boss and handle other mobs such as Blaze.

With the full set equipped, players can also survive in Lava for much longer. So overall, wearing Tungsten is extremely beneficial while exploring the Nether. Outside of armor, it’s also possible to craft a Sword, Axe, Pickaxe, Hoe, Shovel, Hammer, and Shield. Though the tools are typically weaker than Netherite.
Eventually, the Tungsten Armor set can be upgraded using Spore Bottles inside a Smithing Table, turning it into Warted Armor. While the stats are the same, you’ll instead be immune to the Wither and Spore debuffs.
