Crafting Warted Armor
To craft Warted Armor, players must first obtain a complete set of Tungsten Armor. This armor set can be crafted from Tungsten Ore, which is found in the Awful Dungeon, another dungeon in the Nether.

After acquiring Tungsten Armor, you should search for the Keeping Castle dungeon, which can appear in the Nether Wastes and the Crimson Forest biomes. Be on the lookout for Spore Vaporizers, which are easily identifiable by the particles they emit. These vaporizers can be found on the bridges connecting the towers of the Keeping Castle.
When you right-click the Spore Vaporizer block or the particles it emits with a Glass Bottle, you will receive Spore Bottles. You need at least 5 of these to craft a set of Warted Armor. Alternatively, you can combine 8 Spore Bottles with Nether Bricks to craft your own Spore Vaporizer.

To craft Warted Armor, take Tungsten items and place them inside the Smithing Table. Combine each piece with a Spore Bottle to convert them into Warted pieces instead. Alongside armor, the Shield can also be converted.
About Warted Armor
Generally, it’s not worth converting Tungsten armor into Warted armor. Tungsten gives defense against the Wither and Burn effects. Whereas the Warted set gives defenses against the Wither and Spore debuffs instead.
Therefore, Tungsten is more versatile in the Netherlands, allowing you to survive for longer if you fall into lava, for example. However, Warted armor can be beneficial in fighting the Nether Keeper, which can hit you with the Spore debuff during battle.

When hit with Spore, players will be locked in a Nether Wart Cocoon once the effect expires, completely blocking their vision. The only way to remove it is to kill the Cocoon using a sword-like weapon.
