Essence of the Storm

The Essence of the Storm is a utility item that can only be acquired by defeating Scylla. One of the primary reasons for defeating this boss is to obtain this item, which will enable players to craft high-level weapons themed around the Acropolis.

Sources and Drop Rates

The only way to obtain Essence of the Storm is by defeating Scylla, the main boss found within the Acropolis. Each time Scylla is defeated, she will drop between 3 and 4 Essence of the Storm.

Four Essence of the Storm is required to craft every item, as well as six Lacrima. If the player isn’t lucky and only obtains three Essence of the Storm, then they’ll need to find and defeat Scylla multiple times.

Uses

Two high-level items can be crafted using Essence of the Storm. The first is the Astrape, which requires two Essence of the Storm and three Lacrima. This item offers 10.5 Attack Damage and shoots a Lightning Spear when pressing the RMB.

The second item is the Ceraunus, which costs two Essence of the Storm and an additional three Lacrima. This item is a giant Anchor that has 16 Attack Damage and can be thrown to hit targets at a distance. When sneaking, it instead summons waves in a fan pattern.
