Frequently asked questions
How do I find a bastion remnant?
Enter your seed and the map opens in the Nether and jumps to the nearest bastion. The coordinates are Nether coordinates.
What is in a bastion?
Piglins, piglin brutes and some of the best loot in the Nether, including gold blocks, ancient debris, netherite scrap, the Pigstep music disc and the netherite upgrade smithing template, which only bastions have. The treasure room variant has the most loot.
Where do bastions spawn?
In every Nether biome except basalt deltas. They share their spots with Nether fortresses, so each region has one or the other.
How do I get there from the Overworld?
Nether distances are 8 times shorter. Our Nether Portal Calculator converts coordinates so you can build a portal close to the bastion.
