Structure positions follow the mod's own placement rules and were checked against real modded servers with /locate. Mods that change biomes (Terralith, Tectonic and similar) move them.

Maps are generated in your browser with cubiomes (MIT, © Cubitect). Java Edition only.

How to find Aquamirae structures

  • Type your seed and pick your Aquamirae version under Layers. Not sure which? Check the mod file name in your mods folder.
  • The Ice Maze is highlighted and everything else fades out. Every Aquamirae structure is out on that frozen deep ocean.
  • Choose Pirate Ship, Pirate Outpost or Pirate Shelter under Find nearest and press Find to jump to the closest one.
  • Click a marker to copy a /tp command to it, and zoom in to see the smaller shipwrecks.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the Ice Maze spawn in Aquamirae?

The Ice Maze is not a separate biome on the map: Aquamirae turns ocean biomes into it. In Aquamirae 7 for Forge 1.20.1 and in the NeoForge 1.21.1 version, that is the Deep Frozen Ocean and the Deep Cold Ocean. In the older Aquamirae 6, it is the Frozen Ocean and the Deep Frozen Ocean. Turn on Ice Maze under Layers to see every one around you.

How do I find a pirate ship in Aquamirae?

Enter your seed, pick your Aquamirae version and choose Pirate Ship under Find nearest. The map jumps to the closest Frozen Pirate Ship with its coordinates. The game tries one ship spot in every 25 by 25 chunk area (35 by 35 on 1.21.1) and only builds it if that spot is in the Ice Maze, so ships are only ever out on the frozen deep ocean.

Which Aquamirae version should I pick?

Look at the mod's file name in your mods folder. aquamirae-forge-1.20.1-7.x is Aquamirae 7, aquamirae-forge-1.20.1-6.x is Aquamirae 6, and aquamirae-neoforge-1.21.1 is the 1.21.1 version. They place pirate shelters and the Ice Maze differently, so the right choice matters.

Is the Aquamirae map accurate?

We ran the mod on real Forge and NeoForge servers and used /locate at every spot where a pirate ship, outpost, shelter or shipwreck could appear. The map agrees with the game: the structures it shows are there, and the ones it leaves out are not.

Can I use the /locate command instead?

Yes, with cheats on: /locate structure aquamirae:pirate_ship, aquamirae:pirate_outpost or aquamirae:pirate_shelter on Aquamirae 7 and 1.21.1. On Aquamirae 6 the names are aquamirae:ship, aquamirae:outpost and aquamirae:shelter. The map shows all of them at once, before you even load the world.

Does it work with modpacks?

Yes, as long as the pack does not change the biomes. Mods like Terralith or Tectonic move the oceans, and with them the Ice Maze. On 1.21.1, Aquamirae's config can also change how far apart ships, outposts and shelters are; the map uses the default settings.
