Wizard's Reborn is a magic mod set in an alternative 1930s in a steampunk-esque style, featuring new elements and a linear progression system to discover Arcane Nature, cast spells, perform Crystal Rituals, and build advanced machines for Alchemy.

Getting Started
To begin the mod, you'll need to craft an Arcanemicon, a book that contains information about the mod and helps you track your progress more easily.
This can be accomplished by mining a new ore introduced by the mod, called Arcanum Ore. It exists in three forms: Arcanum Ore, Deepslate Arcanum Ore, and Arcanum Dust Block. These can all be found in underground caves.

When smelted, these ores produce Arcanum. If you combine Arcanum with a book, you can craft the Arcanemicon. Alternatively, if enough game time passes, the book is magically added to the players' inventory.
You can place the Arcanum in a crafting table to progress the mod by creating Arcanum Dust, turning 1 Arcanum into 2 Arcanum Dust. If mixed with redstone, this rewards an additional Arcanum Dust. Another note is that 9 Arcanum Dust can be combined to form a Full Arcanum Block, primarily for storage purposes.
Occasionally, while handling the materials involved in this mod, the player may experience a rainbow hallucinogenic filter-type effect.
Discovering Arcanum Dust unlocks the Transmutation feature, allowing you to craft Arcane Wood, Arcane Gold, Banner Patterns, and Wissen in the Arcane Nature tab. Arcanum Dust facilitates the transmutation of Vanilla Wood, Gold materials, and Saplings into Arcane materials and Saplings for use in this mod.
Transmutation
To use the Arcanum Dust for transmutation, you right-click the item while holding the Arcanum Dust.
The two primary items at this stage that require transmutation to begin progressing are a sapling of any type, which creates an arcane tree that produces Arcane Wood logs. When 4 are combined, this forms a piece of Arcane Wood, used for other recipes.
The other primary type of item is Gold to Arcane Gold, to transform Gold Ore Blocks into Arcane Gold Blocks, right-click while holding Arcanum Dust. This process can be repeated for tools and wearable trinkets. One Arcane Wood yields four Arcane Planks.
Just like crafting vanilla tools and armor, you can create a variety of items, including the Arcane Gold Pickaxe, Arcane Gold Bow, Arcane Gold Hoe, Arcane Gold Sword, Arcane Gold Shovel, and Arcane Gold Axe, as well as their Arcane Wood counterparts. The same applies to Arcane Gold Armor crafting, where you use Arcane Gold Ingots in place of Iron.
If two Arcane Wooden Logs are placed next to each other, they create an Arcane Branch, which is helpful for this stage.
Additionally, scythes have been introduced to the game. They can be crafted by combining three Arcane Branches with three Arcane Gold or Arcane Wood pieces. Scythes serve as a tool for harvesting crops and allow players to deal damage to targets from a greater distance.
The wearable trinkets include the Arcanum Amulet, which increases the discount from Wissen by 3%, the Arcanum Ring, which adds 1 Armor Toughness and 1% additional Wissen Discount, and finally, a Leather Belt, which adds 1 Knockback resistance.
The Main item to craft is a Wissen Wand, which is made via 4 Arcane Branches and an Arcanum. This is a helpful tool for later stages, with functionality directly tied to the Mod.
Progression
In Wizard Reborn, progression is tracked using the Arcanemicon, a magical book that is created by following the steps outlined so far. When you hover over the book, it hints at the following item to be unlocked and explains what is needed to obtain it.
For example, the first item obtained after following the steps indicates that the player must create an Arcane Workbench. To do this, they will need 3 wool, 2 Arcane Gold Ingots, 3 Arcane Wood Planks, and 1 Arcanum. This workbench is essential for crafting additional components of Wizard Reborn's Mechanics, which require Wissen, a magical fuel source.
Arcane Spells
To unlock the first tab of the Arcane Spells, it is hinted that the player requires an Arcane Wand, which is hinted at in the Arcane Nature.
The primary tool of a Wizard, using the crystal as a lens, the wizard can refract the energy of the wissen, releasing true magical power.
Alchemy
To further progress the first tab of the Arcane Spells, it is hinted that the player requires a Wisestone, which, if clicking the already revealed page of Wisestone, requires 9 Cobblestone and an Arcanum, which players at this stage should already have obtained.
The Wisestone is a dark artificial stone. Well-suited for creating alchemy containers.
Mechanics
For the mechanical aspect of this mod, things become complicated quickly, and therefore, this guide will not cover it for the time being. However, the Just Enough Items mod can reveal more about what creates functional blocks used in systems.
