Tiny Dragons adds many cute miniature Dragons to Minecraft, that are able to be tamed as pets. These adorable followers can follow the player, or stay at a specified location when trained with the Dragon Training Staff.

Obtaining a Tiny Dragon
Tiny Dragons are able to be spawned only by hatching Tiny Dragon Eggs. They can be found in Chests in lots of different structures, including Abandoned Mineshafts, Desert Pyramids, Jungle Temples, Nether Fortresses, Pillager Outposts, Shipwrecks, inside of Dungeons, within Ocean Ruins, and Woodland Mansions.
Thought it might take a while to find, as they have a relatively low chance to drop inside Chests found. Once obtained, a Dragon Egg can only hatch by being placed onto a powerful heat source.
There are a few options, including placing them on top of Magma Blocks, Campfires, a Cauldron filled with Lava, or on top of Lava itself.
The hatching process takes 10 minutes, indicated by the Tiny Dragon Egg shaking and releasing smoke. The color of the Dragon hatched is completely random, but can be any of the following 8 variations:
While most are simple recolors, some have special themes, such as one that looks like a miniature Ender Dragon, or one that is Skeletal in appearance. While waiting for a Tiny Dragon Egg to hatch, it's a good idea to cover the nest location in a cage, as when hatched, Tiny Dragons may attempt to fly away.
To tame a freshly hatched Dragon, it will need to be fed multiple pieces of Raw Chicken or Raw Rabbit Meat. It can take quite a lot of raw meat to successfully tame, so be prepared.
If the Dragon is successfully tamed, then its now yours and will follow you very closely. Similar to a tamed Wolf, it will fight alongside you during combat, with a special ranged attack where it can cast fire blasts.
Training
Once tamed, further feeding a tamed Dragon can give the player Fire Resistance for a short duration. For more control, training is required using a Dragon Trainers Staff.
To craft the Dragon Trainers Staff, the player will need 2 Sticks, 2 Bones and a Dragon Skull. While Sticks and Bones are easy to obtain, the Dragon Skull is a new item included with the mod. To obtain the Dragon Skull, players will need to search for Dragon Skeletons randomly placed throughout the world.
To harvest them, right click with an empty hand. There is a 20% chance that a Dragon Skeleton will drop a Dragons Skull. Regular Bones can also be obtained from the Dragon Skeleton by harvesting it, up to 7 times.
Using the Staff
Once the Dragon Trainer Staff has been crafted, it can be used by pointing it at a tamed Dragon and pressing X. An interface will pop up with three different options, which are Follow, Stay, and Fly Freely.
When choosing Follow, this enables the Tiny Dragon to follow the player at all times. The Dragon can then help the player fight mobs by continuously casting fire blasts at enemy mobs.
With the Stay option, the Tiny Dragon will stay within a few blocks of where the command was made. Usually, this option would be used within a base so the dragon is permanently secured at home.
Finally, there's Fly Freely. This means the dragon can roam, though it is recommended to do fly freely in enclosed spaces so the dragon doesn't get lost. If used in open spaces the Dragon is likely to fly away and never be found again.

How to Install
If you haven't already, make sure to install Forge for Minecraft. It's a simple process and takes just a few minutes. Once Forge is installed:- Download the mod for your Minecraft Version. It will be a .JAR file.
- Take this file, and place it in the 'mods' folder of your Minecraft directory. If this folder doesn't exist, create it. The easiest way to access your Minecraft directory is opening the game, going to Resource Packs and pressing the 'Open Resource Pack Folder' button.
- Once it's inside the mods folder, run Minecraft with the Forge preset selected. The mod will be installed and can be played with in-game.
