Snail Mail is great for multiplayer servers. The mod allows players to send mail, which can contain items to other players within the game world. A Snail will transport mail, which is placed inside an Envelope.

Snail Box
To start using the Snail Mail mod, players will need to create a Snail Box. These require 8 Iron Ingots and a Nautilus Shell. The Snail Box should be placed in a convenient location that can be easily accessed.

The Snail Box is where mail can be sent and received. To start sending mail, two more items are required, which are the Envelope and Stamp. Crafting both of these items requires 2 Paper, 1 Iron Nugget and 1 Ink Sac.

To send mail, open the Snail Box and place the Open Envelope in the top right slot. The ‘Open Envelope’ button will become activate, which can be pressed.
Enter the name of a player you want to send mail to, add items you wish to send and finally add a Stamp to the top right corner. When you close the interface, the ‘Send’ button can be pressed.

You’ll be asked to choose a Mailbox of the recipient. The Snail will leave the Snail Box with your package and deliver it. Likewise, any packages or mail that you receive will be placed in your own Snail Box.

How to Install
If you haven't already, make sure to install Forge, or install Fabric for Minecraft. It's a simple process and takes just a few minutes. Once your mod loader is installed:- Download the mod for your Minecraft Version. It will be a .JAR file.
- Take this file, and place it in the 'mods' folder of your Minecraft directory. If this folder doesn't exist, create it. The easiest way to access your Minecraft directory is opening the game, going to Resource Packs and pressing the 'Open Resource Pack Folder' button.
- Once it's inside the mods folder, run Minecraft with the Forge or Fabric preset selected. The mod will be installed and can be played with in-game.
