Loot Beams goes great in any adventure and RPG pack. When an item is on the ground, a beam of light appears above it, indicating the rarity of an item. It helps with quickly seeing how good an item is, and whether you’ve missed any rare drops.

Loot Beams
Loot Beams are added to all Minecraft items. You might have seen this mechanic in other games, like Diablo or Borderlands, so that you can quickly get an idea of how good or rare an item is.

With just Vanilla Minecraft, you can expect to see items in 4 different colors. Basic items have white beams. The likes of Bottles o’ Enchanting have yellow beams. Whereas rarer items like Beacons and Enchanted Golden Apples have cyan and purple beams.
The color of a Loot Beam is determined by the item name color. Therefore, you can expect it to be compatible with other mods that you install, as long as they change the item name.
Alternatively, there are some configuration options available. You can change the size of a Loot Beam, determine whitelists/blacklists, and even override the colors for each item. When looking at an item on the ground, you can see its name before picking it up too, thanks to this mod.
