The
Druidic Tome is a mid-tier Spell Book built for players who fight with the Nature school of magic. It holds up to 10 spells, raises your Nature Spell Power by 10 percent, and adds 200 points to your Max Mana.
You make the tome by refining a looted
Rotten Spell Book with living, natural materials. If you build around nature magic like poison and roots, this is one of the strongest books you can craft without chasing rare drops.
Obtaining
You cannot find the
Druidic Tome as loot. You craft it at a
crafting table instead, using a recipe that rebuilds a decayed book into a fresh one. Making it also unlocks the “One with Nature” advancement.
The centerpiece is a
Rotten Spell Book, which you loot from run-down structures across the Overworld. Around it you place two
Arcane Cloth, a Spore Blossom, a Honey Bottle, an Amethyst Cluster, and a Glow Ink Sac.
Most of the ingredients are gathered from the world rather than crafted. Spore Blossom grows on the ceilings of Lush Caves, Honey Bottle comes from a Beehive or Bee Nest, and Glow Ink Sac drops from Glow Squid in dark water. Arcane Cloth is a crafting material from the mod, covered in its own guide.
An Amethyst Cluster only drops as a block if you mine it with a Silk Touch pickaxe, so bring one to an Amethyst Geode. You can only loot the Rotten Spell Book, commonly from abandoned mineshafts and dungeons, so secure both before gathering the rest.
Usage
Equip the
Druidic Tome in your spell book slot to make it your active book. Every spell stored inside becomes castable, and the tome’s bonuses apply while it is equipped.
The 10 spell slots let you carry a full nature kit at once, mixing crowd control like Root, defensive buffs like
Oakskin, and heavy hitters like
Earthquake. The 200 extra Max Mana keeps that kit running through long fights, while the 10 percent Nature Spell Power boost strengthens every nature spell you cast.
You add spells to the book using an
Inscription Table and Scrolls, so fill empty slots before you head out. You can also place the tome on a Lectern to display the spells it currently holds. For the full range of nature abilities to load into it, see the Nature Spells guide.
How It Compares
The
Druidic Tome sits alongside the other elemental books at 10 spell slots. It matches the
Blaze Instruction Manual‘s generous mana pool while specializing in nature instead of fire, and it beats the plain
Enchanted Spell Book by doubling its mana bonus and adding a school boost. For the full ladder of books and how the tiers scale, see the Spell Book Tiers guide.

Tips
You cannot craft Rotten Spell Books, so every
Druidic Tome costs one of your looted copies. If you want to keep a
Rotten Spell Book for its own mana bonus, hold onto a spare before you commit one to this recipe.
The tome’s real strength is its mana. With 200 extra Max Mana, you can chain expensive nature spells like
Earthquake and Poison Spray without pausing to recharge.
Visit an
Inscription Table and fill every open slot before a big fight. Load all 10 slots with the nature Scrolls you have collected so you are never caught mid-battle with an incomplete kit.
FAQ
You craft it at a
crafting table. Surround a
Rotten Spell Book with two
Arcane Cloth, a Spore Blossom, a Honey Bottle, an Amethyst Cluster, and a Glow Ink Sac. It does not spawn as loot on its own.
It holds up to 10 spells, adds 200 to your Max Mana, and boosts your Nature Spell Power by 10 percent. Equip it in your spell book slot to cast the spells inside and gain those bonuses.
Both hold 10 spells, but the
Druidic Tome gives twice the mana bonus and adds a 10 percent Nature Spell Power boost. If you cast nature spells, it is the better book. For other schools, an element-matched or higher-tier book may serve you better.
Yes. The Rotten Spell Book is the core ingredient, and it can only be looted from rundown structures across the Overworld. The craft consumes it, so find one before you gather the rest.
Use an
Inscription Table to move spells from Scrolls into the book’s open slots. Once a spell is inscribed, equip the tome and select the spell to cast it.
