Furnish adds lots of new Furniture items into Minecraft, which are pretty cheap to craft. A lot of these items can be interacted with, such as sitting on Sofas, closing Curtains, or storing items in Cupboards.

Furniture Workbench
To get started with the Furnish mod, you’ll need to craft a Furniture Workbench in Minecraft. It requires an Iron Axe, Shears, 3 Planks, 2 Logs, and a Crafting Table to build.

You can place the block down, and interact with it. By inputting items like Planks and Wool, you can see all of the items they can be turned into. It’s recommended to install Just Enough Items so that every recipe can be seen.
The images above show some items which can be crafted. Placing Potions inside a Potion Shelf will cause it to fill up. Whereas items can also be placed on Shelves, or inside Display Cases to render them in the world.
Curtains can be opened or closed, and Sofas can be connected and sat on. If you place down Books and interact with them, then they’ll change to some different styles. There are dozens of different items provided with the mod to make a base more homely.

How to Install
If you haven't already, make sure to install Forge for Minecraft. It's a simple process and takes just a few minutes. Once Forge is installed:- Download the mod for your Minecraft Version. It will be a .JAR file.
- Take this file, and place it in the 'mods' folder of your Minecraft directory. If this folder doesn't exist, create it. The easiest way to access your Minecraft directory is opening the game, going to Resource Packs and pressing the 'Open Resource Pack Folder' button.
- Once it's inside the mods folder, run Minecraft with the Forge preset selected. The mod will be installed and can be played with in-game.
