Fantasy Armor (Medieval Series)

Fantasy Armor is a mod that adds 24 different Armor sets to Minecraft in a medieval theme. Those Armor sets are beautifully crafted with detail, and present consistently with the adjacent Fantasy Weapons mod.

Core Components

A core component in this mod is the new Moon Crystals, which are a crafting ingredient. They're required in this mod to craft the Armor. You'll want to craft 4 of these for each set of armor you want to create.

Moon Crystals are included in every recipe in this mod. To craft a Moon Crystal, it requires 9 Glow Ink Sacs around an Amethyst Shard.

Fantasy Armor Sets

To create one of the new medieval sets, the player will require Netherite Armor, which is converted to a medieval set when on a Smithing Table with a specific component and a Moon Crystal.

Replace the Netherite Helmet for Netherite Chestplates, Netherite Leggings or Boots, accordingly for their counterparts.

Some sets offer movement or attack speed, knockback, luck or even health boosts.

Eclipse Soldier Armor: Worn by infantrymen who fought for the triumph of the eclipse over the sun. Beneath the boots of their legions, thousands met their fate.

Golden Horns Armor: Shining like pure light, but cursed by greed and bloodlust. This armor serves only those willing to sacrifice their enemies.

Dragonslayer Armor: Forged from the scales of defeated dragons, a symbol of victory and strength. Every step bears the weight of many deaths.

Hero's Armor: A legacy of warriors who fought to their last breath. It carries memories of justice and battle, but glory is a heavy burden.

Thief's Armor: A perfect companion for those who live in shadows. Its black mask conceals your identity, leaving your enemies guessing.

Wandering Wizard Armor: Infused with ancient magic, whispering forgotten spells. It grants power but curses its wearer to wander eternally, without rest.

Sunset Wings Armor: Sunset marks both an end and a beginning. These wings guide their wearer through darkness, transforming them into a messenger of eternal night.

Chess Board Knight Armor: Every move is a battle, every step a strategy. Worn with the pride of a strategist, willing to sacrifice everything for victory—even their soul.

Dark Lord Armor: Forged in the depths of another world, it embodies terror. Spiked and dark like broken fangs, it demands eternal devotion to the abyss.

Fog Guard Armor: Shrouded in ancient mist, offering unmatched protection. Yet, the fog whispers visions of lost realms, weakening those who listen too closely.

Dark Cover Armor: Enveloping its wearer in shadows, it grants silence and concealment. But beware—the darkness murmurs forgotten secrets of forbidden power.

Spark of Dawn Armor: Forged in the first light, radiating warmth and brilliance. But it burns those unworthy, for only the righteous may wield its true power.

Golden Execution Set: Bearing the weight of the empire's wrath, this armor shines golden but is soaked in the blood of the fallen. Wear it with pride, but never forget its cost.

Forgotten Trace Set: The memory of ancient wars lingers in this armor, haunting the wearer with echoes of battles long lost. Once donned, it marks the wearer as a soul from another age.

Redeemer Set: An armor set created by the old order. Your god was slain long ago, but your faith has endured. Knowing very well you will likely not return from your quest, you step forward bravely into the unknown.

Twinned Set: Bound to another in spirit, this armor shares both pain and triumph with its twin. A shared destiny awaits those who wear the full set.

Gilded Hunt Set: Worn by those who chase honor and glory, this armor reflects the wild ambition of its bearer. Hunt with it, but beware—glory often has a steep price.

Lady Maria's Set: "A corpse... should be left well alone. Oh, I know very well. How the secrets beckon so sweetly. Only an honest death will cure you now. Liberate you from your wild curiosity."

Crucible Knight Set: Hold the power of the crucible of life. In time, the strength shown by these knights, and even their appearance, was seen as chaotic and deserving of scorn.

Evening Ghost Set: Hidden in the night, the shadow knows its place. Its steps are silent, but the chill of its presence is felt on the skin.

Ronin Set: Steel bears the scars of the past, its patterns soaked with long-cooled blood.

Malenia Set: "...Heed my words. I am Malenia, Blade of Miquella. And I have never known defeat."

Old Knight Set: A set of armor once worn by a knight who survived countless battles. Its weight is unbearable for the weak, but those who endure shall never fall.

Silver Knight Set: The armor of an elite warrior who never faltered in battle. Its silver gleam reflects the moonlight, bringing swift death to those who dare oppose its master.

How to Install

If you haven't already, make sure to install Forge for Minecraft. It's a simple process and takes just a few minutes. Once Forge is installed:

1. Download the mod for your Minecraft Version. It will be a .JAR file.
2. Take this file, and place it in the 'mods' folder of your Minecraft directory. If this folder doesn't exist, create it. The easiest way to access your Minecraft directory is opening the game, going to Resource Packs and pressing the 'Open Resource Pack Folder' button.
3. Once it's inside the mods folder, run Minecraft with the Forge preset selected. The mod will be installed and can be played with in-game.
