Eureka Airships Mod

Eureka Airships allows players to create their own Boats or Airships in Minecraft, from regular blocks. They can be any size you’d like, and are an efficient and immersive way of exploring your world. Bring Beds, Chests, Furnaces and anything you need on your journeys.

How to Use Eureka Airships

With Eureka Airships, you can create Ships that can either float on water or ride through the air. That’s all dependent on whether you choose to use Balloons, Ballasts, or Floaters. If you’ve played with the Davincis Vessels or Archimedes’ Airships mod before, then you’ll be familiar with this one too.

The slideshow above shows all of the recipes you need to start using Eureka Airships. Create your first ship, and ensure that it’s floating either on the water or in the air. Otherwise, you’ll face problems when assembling your Ship.

Add a Ship’s Helm to the structure to turn it into a Ship or Airship. Sneak, right-click it, and then choose the ‘Assemble’ option. When you right-click the Ship’s Helm again, you’ll mount the Ship, which can be controlled with the WASD keys.

If you have built a Ship on water, it might become slightly submerged. This can be countered by adding Floaters to the bottom. Adding more Floaters will cause the Ship to rise higher on the surface. Alternatively, Ballasts can be used to weigh the Ship down. Anchors can be used to keep a Ship in-place, even when it’s powered.

To have an Airship instead, you’ll need to place multiple Balloons. Larger Airships will require more Balloons. Increasing or decreasing your altitude can be done by using the SPACE and V keys.

How to Install

If you haven't already, make sure to install Forge, or install Fabric for Minecraft. It's a simple process and takes just a few minutes. Once your mod loader is installed:
  1. Download the mod for your Minecraft Version. It will be a .JAR file.
  2. Take this file, and place it in the 'mods' folder of your Minecraft directory. If this folder doesn't exist, create it. The easiest way to access your Minecraft directory is opening the game, going to Resource Packs and pressing the 'Open Resource Pack Folder' button.
  3. Once it's inside the mods folder, run Minecraft with the Forge or Fabric preset selected. The mod will be installed and can be played with in-game.
