Dungeons Enhanced Mod

Dungeons Enhanced adds over 20 new Dungeons, spawning in Minecrafts Overworld. It will make exploring more fun and should help with finding more loot. No new creatures or blocks are included with the mod either.

About Dungeons Enhanced

With Dungeons Enhanced installed, you’ll find just over 20 new structures in the Overworld. Most of these are Dungeons, but a few are just interesting places to explore, and you won’t find hostile creatures there.

Currently included locations are the Castle, Desert Temple, Desert Tomb, Druid Circle, Dungeon Variant, Hay Storage, Ice Pit, Jungle Monument, Large Dungeon, Miners House, Monster Maze, Mushroom House, Pillager Camp, Ruined Building, Stables, Tall Witch Hut, Tower of the Undead, Tree House, Watch Tower, and Witch Tower.

In the future, the developer will likely add even more Dungeons. Plans are also underway to include Dungeons in other Minecraft Dimensions, like the Nether and End.

No new mobs, blocks, or items are included with the mod either. So when clearing out a Dungeon, expect to find creatures like Zombies and Strays, and obtain loot from the Vanilla Dungeon Loot Table.

How to Install

If you haven't already, make sure to install Forge for Minecraft. It's a simple process and takes just a few minutes. Once Forge is installed:
  1. Download the mod for your Minecraft Version. It will be a .JAR file.
  2. Take this file, and place it in the 'mods' folder of your Minecraft directory. If this folder doesn't exist, create it. The easiest way to access your Minecraft directory is opening the game, going to Resource Packs and pressing the 'Open Resource Pack Folder' button.
  3. Once it's inside the mods folder, run Minecraft with the Forge preset selected. The mod will be installed and can be played with in-game.
