The 
Frozen Key is a single-use key that opens the 
Frozen Chest, a sealed treasure vault hidden beneath the Ice Maze. Every chest it unlocks guarantees a 
Rune of the Storm, one of Aquamirae’s standout relics, along with 
Diamonds, enchanted gear, and other rare loot. You cannot mine or blow up a Frozen Chest, so this key is the only way to reach that treasure.
You earn the key by defeating the Ghost of Captain Cornelia, so it doubles as proof you have cleared one of the mod’s toughest fights. Each key opens a single chest, so every trip into the Ice Maze counts.
Obtaining
The Frozen Key has a single source, the Ghost of Captain Cornelia. She drops one key every time she falls, so you’re guaranteed the key the moment you win the fight.
Captain Cornelia never spawns on her own. You call her with a 
Shell Horn, found while exploring the frozen pirate ships scattered across the Ice Maze, by using it near open water inside the maze.
Find a Shell Horn
Search frozen pirate ships
Explore the frozen pirate ships around the Ice Maze until you find a Shell Horn. It is the only item that can call Captain Cornelia, so grab every one you come across. Defeating the Pillager Captain guarding a ship is the most reliable way to get one.

Use the horn near water
Stand beside open water inside the Ice Maze and use the Shell Horn. After a short delay the Ghost of Captain Cornelia rises from the sea and the fight begins. It’s a complex fight, consisting of multiple phases, so ensure you’re prepared.
Defeat Her and Take the Key
Guaranteed on every kill
Beat the boss to claim your Frozen Key, which drops every time. She also leaves an enchanted 
Salvager Helmet and 
Treasure Pouches, and has a chance to drop her 
Tidepiercer.

Music Disc Usage
The Frozen Key opens Frozen Chests and nothing else. Hold the key and right-click a Frozen Chest to unlock it instantly. The chest turns into a normal chest filled with loot, and you spend the key in the process.
A Frozen Chest is indestructible and immune to explosions, so there is no shortcut past the key. Right-clicking the chest without a key does nothing and leaves it sealed.
Opening a chest consumes the Frozen Key immediately. Open Frozen Chests deliberately, and summon Captain Cornelia again with another Shell Horn whenever you need more keys.
Where to Find Frozen Chests
Frozen Chests sit deep inside the underground Pirate Shelters buried under the Ice Maze. Drop down the entrance tunnel into the main chamber and you will find one waiting. See the Pirate Shelter guide for the full layout.
What You Get
Every Frozen Chest guarantees a Rune of the Storm, a rare relic you cannot find easily anywhere else. Alongside it you can pull Diamonds, 
Enchanted Golden Apples, a 
Totem of Undying, the 
Dagger of Greed, and enchanted weapons. The chest also holds
