All The Arcanist Gear

The All The Arcanist Gear is an endgame mod also seen in the All the Mods 10 (ATM10) Modpack, adding Armor sets focused on spellcasting, extending the Ars Nouveau equipment a further 3 tiers. This guide will cover how to upgrade tier 3 Ars Nouveau Armor Sets to All The Arcanist sets' 6th tier.

Very similarly structured to All the Wizard Gear, except targeted towards the Mod 'Ars Nouveau' instead of the Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks Mod. You will need to have Ars Nouveau Armor Sets, which you can read about here.

AlltheArcanist Gear

All Gear created beyond this point is crafted using a smithing Table, a Smithing Template, an Ingot, and the Tier 3 piece obtained from the previous stage.

Allthemodium Tier (Tier 4)

Crafted using a AlltheModium Smithing Template and an AlltheModium Ingot.

This upgrades the Armor to a gold arcanist set. With +4 Armor Toughness, +200 Max Mana, +6 Mana Regen and +6 Spell power per piece. Armor is boosted by approximately 150% of their Iron counterparts.

AlltheModium Smithing Templates are obtained from Sus Clay in Ancient Cities in the overworld, and AlltheModium Ingots can be mined from Deep Dark Biomes, requiring a Netherite pickaxe or better.

Vibranium Tier (Tier 5)

Crafted using a Vibranium Smithing Template and an Vibranium Ingot.

This upgrades the Armor to a more powerful Cyan arcanist set. With +5 Armor Toughness, +325 Max Mana, +9 Mana Regen and +9 Spell power per piece. Armor is boosted by approximately 200% of their Iron counterparts.

Vibranium Smithing Templates are obtained from Sus Soulsand in Bastions of the Nether, and Vibranium Ingots can be mined from Vibranium Ores found in the Nether between Y levels 64 to 127, requiring an AlltheModium pickaxe or better.

Unobtanium Tier (Tier 6)

Crafted using a Unobtanium Smithing Template and an Unobtanium Ingot.

This upgrades the Armor to the most powerful arcanist set, it is Purple. With +6 Armor Toughness, +450 Max Mana, +12 Mana Regen and +12 Spell power per piece. Armor is boosted by approximately 270% of their Iron counterparts.

Unobtanium Smithing Templates are obtained from The Other Dimension in Chests of a specific structure called the underground library found in dungeons, and Unobtanium Ingots can be mined from Unobtanium Ores found in The End Highlands, with a Vibranium Pickaxe or better.

Duplicating Smithing Templates

It could be easier to duplicate Smithing Templates instead of searching for 4 or more smithing Templates per tier upgrade, to duplicate this using a crafting Table:

AlltheModium smithing Template requiring 7x Netherite Ingot, Deep slate Block and an AlltheModium smithing Template.

Vibranium smithing Template requiring 7x AlltheModium Ingot, Ancient Stone and an Vibranium smithing Template

Unobtanium smithing Template requiring 7x Vibranium Ingot, end stone and an Unobtanium smithing Template

How to Install

If you haven't already, make sure to install Forge for Minecraft. It's a simple process and takes just a few minutes. Once Forge is installed:

1. Download the mod for your Minecraft Version. It will be a .JAR file.
2. Take this file, and place it in the 'mods' folder of your Minecraft directory. If this folder doesn't exist, create it. The easiest way to access your Minecraft directory is opening the game, going to Resource Packs and pressing the 'Open Resource Pack Folder' button.
3. Once it's inside the mods folder, run Minecraft with the Forge preset selected. The mod will be installed and can be played with in-game.
