Advanced Mining Dimension Mod

This mod adds a new Dimension into Minecraft, which solely consists of Caves. You can access the Dimension through a block, and come back to the Overworld as you please. It’s a great way to mine ores, without exhausting all the resources at your base.

Advanced Mining Dimension Recipe

To get to the Advanced Mining Dimension, you’ll need to craft the Mining Dimension Teleporter. It’s easy to craft, so visiting this Dimension can really be done within the first hour of playing Minecraft.

Dimension Box Recipe

Inside a Crafting Table, place 4 Planks, 4 Logs and a Stone Pickaxe. Use the image above as a reference. You’re also able to use different Planks and Log types, you’re not limited to Oak.

Inside the Dimension

Place the Mining Dimension Teleporter down in a suitable place. When right clicking it, you’ll immediately be teleported to the Advanced Mining Dimension. There’s no surface here, it’s all caves and ravines, from Bedrock to the top layer.

When you want to go back to the Overworld, just right click the Mining Dimension Teleporter again. There’s some configuration options available too, which will mostly affect the generation of Ravines, Ores and Caves.

How to Install

If you haven't already, make sure to install Forge for Minecraft. It's a simple process and takes just a few minutes. Once Forge is installed:
  1. Download the mod for your Minecraft Version. It will be a .JAR file.
  2. Take this file, and place it in the 'mods' folder of your Minecraft directory. If this folder doesn't exist, create it. The easiest way to access your Minecraft directory is opening the game, going to Resource Packs and pressing the 'Open Resource Pack Folder' button.
  3. Once it's inside the mods folder, run Minecraft with the Forge preset selected. The mod will be installed and can be played with in-game.
